New unseen footage shows millionaire banker Jonathan Kaye being attacked by the group hurling anti-Semitic slurs – as he hands himself in to police for punching a woman during the brawl.

Dramatic new footage has revealed the moment New York investment banker Jonathan Kaye was attacked by a group of revelers who hurled anti-Semitic slurs at him – for the first time since he was accused of punching a woman during a row last month.

Kaye, 52, now a former managing director at Moelis & Company, made headlines in early June after a viral video showed him throwing a vicious punch at a woman at the Brooklyn Pride Parade on June 8.

The millionaire banker was reported to have resigned from his highly paid role last week after being placed on leave while his firm investigated the incident.

Now, DailyMail.com can reveal that Kaye was arrested on Monday morning after voluntarily surrendering to police in Brooklyn, where he has been charged with second- and third-degree assault.

It comes after sources close to the financier came forward with their side of the story in the wake of the controversy last month, claiming the brawl broke out after a group of four female Queers for Palestine supporters allegedly began taunting the Jewish financier and threw liquids at him as he left a nearby restaurant that night.

Now, unseen footage obtained by DailyMail.com offers new insight into the events leading up to the brawl, showing the moment the two sides cross paths in the street before engaging in a violent physical confrontation.

CCTV footage, captured by a nearby restaurant, shows Kaye emerging from the right side of the sidewalk, where the group of revelers appear to be hanging out in the corner.

The pair appear to exchange words as Kaye walks past, but he keeps walking, before turning his gaze back on the group as they allegedly begin swearing and insulting each other.

As he continues up the sidewalk, he crosses paths with someone who appears to be walking back to the same group of friends on the corner, and they also exchange words.

It is not known exactly what was said, but it was apparently provocative enough to cause Kaye to stop and turn and approach the group.

The confrontation quickly turns chaotic and physical, with Kaye seen surrounded and then pushed into the street, off-screen, drawing the attention of nearby onlookers.

After the fight unfolds off-camera, he reappears in the frame seconds later and continues down the sidewalk.

Sources told DailyMail.com last month that Kaye, who is Jewish, had told the group they were “on the wrong side”, prompting the women to join him.

Now, DailyMail.com understands that Kaye had turned around and returned to confront the group after hearing anti-Semitic slurs directed at him.

In a statement to DailyMail.com, Kaye’s legal representative, Danya Perry, Perry Law, said: “Mr Kaye, a middle-aged Jewish man with no history of violence or aggression, was terrorized, attacked and surrounded by a group of protesters unruly anti-Semites.

‘What the previously released video clip does not show is what another video and other evidence we shared with the DA shows: that these agitators formed a ring around him, doused him with two unknown liquids, pushed him to the ground and they hurled anti-Semitic slurs at him.

“Terrified and injured, Mr. Kaye managed to act in self-defense to escape the situation and return safely to his family. We hope that the District Attorney will fully and fairly take into account these facts, along with the wave of anti-Semitic acts, protests and attacks that are destroying our city. We will aggressively fight the injustice and expect a full vindication for our client.’

As previously reported by DailyMail.com, insiders close to the 52-year-old banker claimed the viral clip did not fully capture the altercation, which they say began when the group started swearing at Kate, who is Jewish, antisemitic.

Kaye reportedly told the group they were ‘on the wrong side’, prompting the women to join him, the source said.

“You could say he started it, but he didn’t,” a source told DailyMail.com.

He just said “you’re on the wrong side”, and then the four of them came at him – threw juices at him. He didn’t know what the liquid was. They shouted abuse at him.

“He fell or hit his chest and he can’t remember it. But he ended up on the pavement with those four on top of him.

“He got up and ducked into one as he was trying to get away, and then he ran.”

They also claim the footage shows Kaye covered in liquid, with a stain on her back, in the now-viral video.

Photos obtained by DailyMail.com show Kaye’s clothes soaked in a red liquid, which he believes was Gatorade, and blood pooling around his ankle after he was pushed to the floor.

Kaye was recorded punching the unidentified woman during a Brooklyn pride parade Saturday night, though there has not been an official investigation launched by the NYPD.

The viral video had shown Kaye throwing a wild hand at an unidentified woman in Brooklyn — where he also lives in a four-bedroom Park Slope home worth just over $4 million.

A source with knowledge of the incident said the viral clip doesn't tell the whole story, which they claim began when a group of Queers for Palestine supporters attacked Kaye as he was leaving the dinner.

Posters of his face, home address and cellphone number have been plastered in the area near his $4 million four-bedroom Park Slope home, as neighbors erupted and called for the father of three’s arrest.

Defending the banker, who works as a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, a major investment bank with offices in Midtown Manhattan, the source said the whole thing was ‘super anti-Semitic’.

They added: “You can clearly see in the video, if you slow it down, that he is wet because they were throwing fluids at him.

‘That video clip is cut and doesn’t show the whole thing. He’s never had an affair in his entire life, never been arrested or anything.

“It was a super anti-Semitic attack by four individuals who came together against a Jew. It has left him completely traumatized’.

Kaye is currently under investigation by the bank, with a spokesperson confirming his identity and adding that they are taking the footage and allegations seriously. An official report has yet to be made to the NYPD, although they are aware of the footage.

In the clip, the woman is seen being thrown to the floor by the force of the punch, as an onlooker unsuccessfully tries to help her.

Other onlookers are heard calling Kaye an “a-hole” and telling him to “go on my own” – gaining his attention briefly before he abruptly leaves.

Kaye, who lives with his wife, owns multiple properties on the street, which he rents out to neighbors.

One said she was ‘shocked’ when she saw the footage this morning, adding that the father-of-three always seemed ‘normal’, even though she normally spoke to his wife.

Another neighbor described scenes of chaos in the usually quiet street last night, as the victim’s friends ran up and down shouting that Kaye had attacked a woman.
